The Holiday Inn chain has added a waterpark to another of its US properties. Fort Rapids is the name of a new indoor waterpark resort at the Holiday Inn in Columbus, Ohio, offering “60,000 square feet of Wet, Wild,Western Fun.”
Already a waterpark forms a major part of the Nickelodeon Family Suites hotel in Orlando, Florida.
One of the highlights of the new waterpark in Columbus is the Shoot Out Racer, the latest attraction from Whitewater West, also known as the Whizzard.
Other attractions at Fort Rapids include Rascal Roundup, a multi-level family AquaPlay structure and Black Out Pass, a SuperBowl, both also by Whitewater; plus a wave channel, multiple inner-tube slides and a tot’s play area featuring various mini slides.
