The Dubai Entertainment Amusement and Leisure Show (DEAL), the Middle East’s largest industry event, takes place towards the end of April and organisers are hoping it will be bolstered by unprecedented demand in the region for entertainment venues.

Organised by International Expo Consults, the 13th edition of the event (previously known as TPFC) promises 180 international exhibitors, all keen to get ahead in one of the world’s fastest growing tourism markets.

“The Pan Arab amusement and entertainment market is developing at an unprecedented pace,” highlights International Expo Consults president Abdul Rehman Falaknaz. “Projects like the US$3 billion Attractions and Experience World, part of Dubailand; Durrat al-Arus in Saudi Arabia, the third largest recreational city in the world; and Iceberg Towers in Bahrain are already underway offer immense opportunities.”

At DEAL, representatives from government, trade centres, tourism, travel, recreation and retail properties, theme parks, real estate, consultants and media will get a first hand preview of the latest, most inspiring and amusing products and services from across the world.

“We are expecting a 20 per cent growth for the DEAL show in 2007,” adds Falaknaz. “The surging international interest in the show mirrors the rapid growth in the region. DEAL provides a perfect opportunity to view the best, latest and the most popular products and concepts the industry has to offer.”

With Dubai clearly spearheading the current growth in the region, with projects worth an estimated AED300 billion (US$82/€62bn) coming up in the next 10 years, there’s no better place for the industry to meet.

DEAL 2007 takes place from April 22 to 24 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre. See the link below for more information.
