Adventure Island feels the Rage

The largest new coaster in the UK this coming season will be the new Euro-Fighter ride from Gerstlauer at Adventure Island in Southend-on-Sea. Opening February 10, it will be the sixth such ride from the German manufacturer.
The coaster will feature Euro-Fighter’s trademark beyond vertical (97 degrees) first drop and a 23-metre-tall lift tower. A 19-metre loop will be followed by two further inversions, an inline loop and a heartline roll, a right curve and a helix section. In total the ride features 361-metres of track, lasting 40 seconds.
Adventure Island is to name the ride ‘Rage’ and give it a superheroes theme.
