Verbolten at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Construction has started on Verbolten, a new multi-launch rollercoaster from Zierer for Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Virginia.
Located in the American park's Oktoberfest Village area, on the site of the former Big Bad Wolf coaster, the 2,835ft-long ride will feature two launches, themed elements, sound and light effects, high speed turns and an 88ft final drop to the water. Reaching a top speed of 53mph, guests will be seated in one of five 16-seat trains.
From the moment visitors approach the new roller coaster, they will feel a sense of mystery and fun. A German tourist centre serves as the ride entrance and as the launching point for an autobahn touring experience that will keep them on the edge of their seats.
