Noting that there currently no other manufacturers building portable flume rides, the Fabbri Group is to begin production of such a ride at its Italian premises – and here’s the log to prove it. The company has already secured orders from two travelling customers, and will also make a version suitable for parks.
The manufacturer recently supplied its largest travelling River Rapids ride, for a showman in Germany, and is already experiencing a “very positive reaction” from parks for Hydro Mania, a low cost alternative to other interactive water rides.
Fabbri has also announced plans to produce its own version of the wave swinger/tower ride concept, the Sky Tower, using a 30-metre tall tower.
The company aims to offer customers as wide a selection of attractions as possible, and has recently established a relationship with kiddie ride manufacturer Memo Park so that it can offer even the smallest of products.
“We don’t want to produce all rides ourselves,” says Enrico Fabbri, “but through co-operations like this we can support each other.” Fabbri already has a similar arrangement with Lamborghini Rides, a neighbouring supplier of carousels, Ferris Wheels and merry-go-rounds.
