IRM/PRI changes hands
Published:  01 January, 2007
Tony Rossi

Industry veteran Tony Rossi, of Wildwood, New Jersey, has purchased International Rides Management (IRM) and Performance Rides International (PRI) from owner Steve Elliot.

The two companies are consultants for management, planning, rides testing and inspection, as well as brokering the sale and purchase of new (IRM) and used (PRI) rides.

According to Rossi, Elliott called and asked him to carry on IRM, thinking Tony’s passion for the industry would strengthen the company. Rossi, a level III NAARSO inspector, will use that knowledge and expertise to help clients avoid inspection delays.

Rossi began in the industry when he was only 14, operating a coin exchange for Ken Wynne at New Jersey’s Casino Pier. He’s since worked for Silverwood Park in Athol, Idaho, Morey’s Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey, and also as a project manager for two wooden coasters, the Dania Beach, Florida, Hurricane and the Thunder Eagle in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
