Chance finishes first Unicoaster

Published:
27 November, 2009

The first Unicoaster ride from Chance is finished. This brand new ride features eight rotating arms with two passenger vehicles on each arm and allows each vehicle’s passengers to control their own spin, both forward and backward.

The machine is reminiscent of the old Allan Herschell Looper, or indeed Chance’s own Rok ‘n’ Rol, but with an undulating path.

“We were looking for a way to reinvent the rollercoaster but on a smaller footprint," declares Unicoaster co-creator Bill Kitchen. "The Unicoaster gives riders all of the thrills of a looping coaster at a fraction of the space and price.”
