Rich Allen becomes S&S CEO
Following recent management changes this summer, S&S Worldwide has announced the appointment of Rich Allen as its new president and chief executive officer. Kevin Rohwer, meanwhile, becomes vice-president of sales and marketing.
Allen, who joined S&S in 1997, was previously vice-president and general manager, before taking up the role of chief operating officer in 2002. Former director of sales Rohwer joined the Utah-based firm in 2002.
Founded by industry pioneer Stan Checketts, S&S has become a leading designer and supplier of amusement rides and this season celebrates the opening of three unique attractions in Europe, including Germany’s fastest rollercoaster at the F1 Nürnburgring.
