TantrumTWIST for two US parks
Sister waterparks Splish Splash in Riverhead, New York, and Wet ’n’ Wild Emerald Pointe in Greensboro, North Carolina, will both debut an attraction this season called Dr Von Dark’s Tunnel of Terror! Both properties are part of the Palace Entertainments/Parques Reunidos group.
Based around a TantrumTWIST from ProSlide Technologies, the slides twist and turn as up to two riders at a time spin freely on tubes while descending four stories in total darkness, accelerating them toward a giant funnel.
The bottom then drops put and riders are driven skyward into the upper hemisphere of the enclosed mini Tornado flume. Surprises await at every turn.
