Chance Morgan has updated its old Rok ‘n’ Rol ride (reminiscent of the old Allen Herschell Looper) by adding an undulating track and new seating. Known as the Down Force, the first unit has been sold to NASCAR Speedpark, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and will open in May 2009.
The ride is available with either 12 or 16 two-seater cars, using the ride vehicles originally developed for Chance Morgan’s Unicoaster. Riders control the looping of the cars – forwards or backwards – as they travel around the 50ft ride platform. The attraction is patent pending.
