Preston & Barbieri subsidiary launched at Orlando
Published:
31 December, 2008

Preston & Barbieri revealed its new offshoot in public for the first time during IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando.

MIT, whose name is short for Machine Interactive Technology, has been formed to takeover the production of compact coasters and water rides formerly handled by L&T Systems, with which P&B enjoyed a close relationship.  Production will remain at L&T’s old premises in Reggio Emilia, Italy.

MIT will also produce a number of interactive and dark ride vehicles, and at IAAPA showed a new customised Jeep for use on George of the Jungle-themed Splash Battle heading for the Middle East. This, together with several other concepts, will be produced in association with 3DBA.
