Celebration City adds Roaring Falls
Water ride highlights 2009 expansion
Celebration City, Branson, Missouri, will introduce its biggest expansion to date this spring. Roaring Falls, a $2 million water adventure ride by OD Hopkins, takes riders through fast-moving rapids and features a 5-story, 55-degree angle drop for an enormous splash finale.
“Roaring Falls is the biggest ride we have added since the park opened in 2003,” notes Celebration City general manager John Fitzgibbons. “Each 20-person boat follows the themed path of uncharted territory down a powerful river towards the massive waterfall for a final 50ft plummet.
Also new this summer will be a dog show named Jump! and Extreme Parrots, a bird show.
