Efteling’s leap year gesture

Guests staying at the Efteling Hotel in Kaatsheuvel, the Netherlands, are being offered an extra night in a themed room for free – if their birthday falls on February 29.
The leap year gesture means qualifying guests can choose from special rooms such as the Flying Dutchman (pictured), Hansel & Gretel or Carousel Suite at the hotel adjoining the Efteling theme park. They will also be treated to a celebratory breakfast and dinner. The offer is available on a first come, first served basis.
The 2008 Efteling season begins on March 21.
