Astérix is shining star

Compagnie des Alpes (CDA), the owner of various European amusement parks including the Walibi properties, saw park revenues rise 23.3% in the final quarter of 2007 to €27.6 million.

The leap is accredited in part to the decision to open Parc Astérix near Paris for the first time over the Christmas and the New Year period. Meanwhile CDA, which is also the world's largest ski resort operator, has agreed to sell Panorama Park in Germany to an unnamed private investor.
