Great American Family Parks announces president
Great American Family Parks (GFAM), Santa Monica, California, has appointed Dale Van Voorhis (pictured) as its president and chief operating officer.
Comprised of amusement park experts and management specialists known across the US, GFAM is a theme park acquisition, management and staffing company with the goal of acquiring small and medium-sized parks, installing an efficient management system, streamlining and managing staffing and generating industry-leading profits.
Van Voorhis previously served as a GFAM from December 2003 through December 2006 and has been the President of Amusement Business Consultants since its inception in 1994.
GFAM also announced that it has named Stan Harper, founder of the company's most recent acquisition, Park Staffing Services (PSS), as a member of its board of directors and a vice-president of the company.
