18 December, 2007

Wild Adventures, Valdosta, Georgia, will add a new thrill ride, The Rattler by Moser, and 300 animals for its 2008 season. New family-friendly entertainment is also on the way with the addition of the popular kid’s characters Veggie Tales (pictured) and a “Kidzpalooza” festival.

Under the ownership of Herschend Family Entertainment since late September, “The last eight weeks have been hectic and exciting for us at Wild Adventures,” admits Bob Montgomery, Wild the park’s general manager.

The Rattler is the park’s first new ride in three years and enhances the Wild West area of the park. The 24-seater spinning swing ride previously appeared at Wild West World in Kansas as the Sidewinder, but due to that park’s abrupt closure is less than a year old.

The new animals promised for Wild Adventures include black bears, wolves, cougars sea lions, some of which will feature is show performances.
