Tony Hawks spins into Discovery Kingdom
Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Vallejo, California, will introduce a spinning coaster from Gerstlauer for 2008. The new addition, Tony Hawk’s Big Spin, is the latest ride themed around skateboarder Tony Hawk.
The 52.5ft-tall, 1,351ft-long ride will offer a full extreme sports experience, with monitors in the queue lines displaying highlights of action sports, a large spinning Tony Hawk figure crowning the ride and merchandise available at the exit to the ride. Existing Tony Hawks coasters are at Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Six Flags St Louis.
