Uppswinget swings into action
Here is a photo of Uppswinget, the new S&S Power Screamin’ Swing at Liseberg in Sweden.
The park chose the ride because of its small footprint and has given it an amazing setting – on the hillside next to the famous Lisebergbanan rollercoaster. Despite holding as many as 32 guests, the Screamin’ Swing carved up only a small piece of the hill and was a perfect fit. The ride now has a commanding presence above the park and guests scream with joy as they swing out over the midway below.
Another 32-seater Screamin Swing has opened this season at Silver Dollar City, Branson, Missouri (Park World, June 2007). In addition, the first 100ft, 4-seat model is about to swing into action at Mount Olympus Water & Theme Park in the Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. This S&S first stands across the street from where the Space Shot debuted in the United States over a decade ago
