Huss makes Indian agreement
Bombay Amusement Rides (BARPL) has been appointed a service partner for Huss Park Attractions across the Indian subcontinent. BARPL is not, however, a sales agent for Huss.
“I am very sure that one of the next growing markets is India, just like China was 10 years ago,” says Huss’ Andrea Weber. “Two years ago we had a lot of offers in India but could not be sure we had found the right guys. BARPL are high quality.”
Huss rides are relatively few and far between in India at present. “Old machines like the Enterprise and Pirate Ship are popular,” notes BARPL's Pradeep Sharma, “but price has always been a major factor. We see the possibility to start manufacturing Huss rides in India, but it’s for them to decide. There is a good opportunity for Huss.”
BARPL has just opened a new 9,500 square metre production facility in Mumbai.
