Montaña Infinitum opens in Mexico
Mexico’s first triple-loop rollercoaster has opened at La Feria de Chapultpec Magico in Mexico City.
Montaña Infinitum is 33-metres high with a track length of nearly 1km and reaches a maximum speed of 85 km per hour. The ride features three 20-seater trains and an hourly capacity of 1,500 people.
The Schwarzkopf-built attraction started its life on the fairground circuit in Germany but was seen more recently at Flamingoland in England, where it appeared as Magnum Force. For its new life in Mexico, the ride has been completely repainted and adorned with new signage.
La Feria de Chapultepec Magico now has 54 rides and attractions, including a signature 1963 wooden rollercoaster. The park is owned by major Latin American entertainment group CIE Parque de Diversiones.
