Interlink installs in Tbilisi and Tunisia
Anglo-French supplier Interlink has announced two big water ride installations for 2007.
At Soukra Park in Tunisia, the firm will deliver a rapid river featuring interactive gyro boats. Each vessel features a rotating top hull which can be operated by the passengers. The same park will also get a single lift log flume and a Chinese-themed spin boat. In Eastern Europe, Interlink is to supply a custom-designed double log flume to a new park in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Projects on the horizon for 2008 include a double lift family flume with a reverse drop, a 440-metre rapid river and a three lift custom-designed log flume with an 18-metre chute.
Interlink has over 20 years’ water ride experience. This knowlege has enabled the company to develop features including a revolutionary braking system for the Shoot the Chute rides, first applied at Bellewaerde in Belgium and subsequently used on the for Indiana Jones ride at Universal Studios.
