A fantasy-themed Blacklight Mini Golf has opened in Branson, Missouri as part of a new FEC owned by Bill Hill. The 5,000 sq ft course contains detailed props and scenery, a digital sound system and several animations.

“This was a different theme,” notes supplier Larry Kirchner of Blacklight Attractions. “We’ve been doing a lot of pirate-themed mini golf, so got pretty excited when this client wanted to go with a middle earth/fantasy theme. It allowed us to be creative.”

The 18-hole course take players on a journey through an Elf village with sculpted waterfalls, trees and built-out sets, including an animated wizard who greets guests and informs them of the rules. Players then wind their way through the cave of a fire dragon, into the frozen cave of the ice dragon, and finally below the depths of the ocean where they encounter Neptune.
