SeaWorld Orlando adds three rides
Shamu’s Happy Harbor at SeaWorld Orlando is doubling in size to four acres with the launch of three new family rides including Ocean Commotion, Flying Fiddler and Sea Carousel. These join the three new rides added last fall.
Ocean Commotion, a themed “fanta-sea” tug boat from Zamperla, will rock 24 riders at a time gently back-and-forth and whirl them from side-to-side
Also from Zamperla, the Flying Fiddler is a Wave Blaster ride based around a giant, bright-red fiddler crab with illuminated moving eyes. Twelve children are lifted more than 20 feet in the air, and begin jumping in a series of short drops.
Adding a classic element to Shamu’s Happy Harbor is an elaborate Sea Carousel, a marine-themed merry-go-round from Chance Morgan topped by a behemoth 45ft-wide pink octopus. A colourful collection of 65 sea creatures will include exotic fish, sea lions, otters, sharks and dolphins.
