The Sea World Eye at its former home in Birmingham, UK

Visitors to Australia’s Sea World throughout December and January will be able to enjoy previously unseen views of the local Broadwater surroundings thanks to a new observation wheel attraction.

The Sea World Eye, which will be included as part of the regular admission price, will tower nearly 60 metres over the Gold Coast marine park and offer new and unique views of Polar Bear Shores and Shark Bay.

The ride, by Ronald Bussink Professional Rides of Switzerland, previously operated in Birmingham, England. It boasts a total of 42 air-conditioned 6-seater gondolas, including a VIP capsule featuring plasma TV, DVD player, fridge and leather interior. All gondolas are air-conditioned.

The wheel will be included as part of the new ‘Sea World at Sunset’ tour, where it will be complemented by a moonlit monorail tour overlooking the dolphin pools and a seafood meal in the park’s Broadwater Restaurant.
