Big dark ride for Europa-Park
Europa-Park, near Freiburg, Germany, will introduce a Mack interactive dark ride in March 2007, in the Greek area of the park. A special challenge for Mack Rides was to provide high capacity for this popular park, also owned by the Mack family.
A new ride system with 58 custom-designed, beautiful Submarine looking vehicles will guide 1,500 guests per hour deep undersea where they will face undersea creatures in a fun battle.
The fourth version of the Mack SuperSplash (one of which can also be seen at Europa-Park) is now under construction at SeaWorld, San Antonio, Texas. Called Journey to Atlantis, guests will encounter two spinning platforms, a backwards coaster section and a final splashdown.
