To accommodate an increased volume of incoming orders, Maurer Rides is expanding to open joint facilities in Kirchheim near Munich, together with its development partner, Beutler Transport Systeme.
The new location is located in Kirchheim, only 15 minutes from Maurer’s headquarters in Munich. Moving forward, the spare parts supplies and vehicle construction will be relocated to this site, as well also the engineering capacities of the two partner companies.
The aim of the expansion is to combine the organisation of steel construction and mechanical and electrical engineering in order to shorten reaction times. “In concrete terms, this enables us to respond even more efficiently and quickly to customer requests,” says Jörg Beutler, managing director of Maurer Rides.
Production of steel construction for rails and supports will remain at the Maurer Rides headquarters at in Munich, where the rails for the most spectacular rides have been built for 25 years.
