Adventure Landing adding play slide complex

Adventure Landing is adding a $1 million slide complex to its 23-year-old Shipwreck Island Water Park in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The pirate-themed waterslide complex will open just in time for the Spring 2018 season. It will feature five innovative slides and interactive water features for families with children to experience.

The Pirate Play Slide Complex, by Arihant Water Park Equipment, will bring an entirely new experience to the waterpark, and will replace part of the original pirate village. It will feature attractions such as Cannonball Burst, an enclosed slide for single riders with three 360º loops, Black Beard’s Revenge, an exciting open flume body slide filled with twist and turns, and Pirate’s Plunge, a tunneling body slide featuring two 360º turns. Guests will also experience a bucket that sporadically dumps endless amounts of water. The youngest guests can safely enjoy the Junior Jolly, a wide platform waterslide and Sea Pups Racer, an open dual body slide racer. The new Pirate Play Slide Complex construction will begin right after WinterFest and will be ready for the 2018 waterpark season.
